Thank you for allowing DATCU the opportunity to serve your organization’s needs through an event sponsorship or general donation. Please complete the following form and a representative from DATCU will be in touch with any questions or considerations.  All requests will be considered on a quarterly basis with final decisions announced at the beginning of the following quarter. 

Qualifying:

While DATCU frequently sponsors events and local non-profits, our mission is to support education in our community. If you are a PTA or booster club in Denton or Lewisville ISD, please contact your administrative office to see if your event or organization is considered in our partnership agreement.

We also prioritize health and safety in our charitable contributions. If you are an organization affiliated with first responders, children’s welfare, or the general wellbeing of our community, please be specific in your organization’s mission statement and include any partnerships you have within the community.

If your request includes logo or advertising needs, please include deadlines, ad specifications, and any collateral needs so that we can respond in a timely manner.

Timeline:

We will review all requests at the conclusion of each quarter and contact recipients during the first two weeks of the following quarter after the request was made.  Please consider this if you are requesting a response sooner than the next quarter.  While we will make every effort to respond, there is no guarantee your request will be funded prior to the start of the next quarter. 

Qualifying FAQs

While DATCU frequently sponsors events and local non-profits, our mission is to support education in our community. We also prioritize health and safety in our charitable contributions: first responders, children’s welfare, or those who serve the general wellbeing of our community.

If you are a school, PTA, or booster club in Aubrey, Decatur, Denton, Lake Dallas, Lewisville, or Sanger ISD, please contact your administrative office to see if your event or organization is considered in our partnership agreement.
 

Our large monetary contributions are typically done through our district partnerships. Our grant requests usually range from $1 to $1,000. 

We will review all requests at the conclusion of each quarter and contact recipients during the first two weeks of the following quarter after the request has been made. Please consider this if you are requesting a response sooner than the next quarter. While we will make every effort to respond, there is no guarantee your request will be funded prior to the start of the next quarter.

  • For example: If a request is received on February 15th, we will not review the request until March 31st. Approvals with then go out two weeks later, on or around April 14th.

The following will be required to submit your request:

  • Your first and last name.
  • Your organization’s name.
  • Your phone number and email.
  • Your membership status.
  •  Whether you or your organization has received support from DATCU in the past.
  • Whether you are affiliated with an ISD served by a DATCU branch.
  • The mission of your organization or event.
  • Whether you have additional fundraising for your event.
  • The amount of your request.
  • The fundraising goal for your event or campaign.
  • Whether your sponsorship or donation request involves the creation of an advertisement or have need to use the DATCU logo? If so, what are the advertising or size specifications?  Please also include any print deadlines

 

While we love and prioritize our members, we would love to welcome each person that qualifies for membership. 

A DATCU Community Relations representative would love to share the exclusive benefits of membership with you and your staff. At most events, our dedicated representatives are given 3-5 minutes to briefly share the benefits that DATCU has to offer, as well as giving you the opportunity to get personalized service.
